my mate has just bought a TD05 for his subaru but garage cant fit it as his is a TD04. some thing to do with a plate in the way. anyway ive been offerd it and its got a guarantee with it. these run any good on the xud?. dont want to buy it and i cant use it same as the turbo i have sat in the shed.

I think the td05 may be a bit big, not sure if it will spool before you have to change gear.

Could always give it a go though!!!

thats bolox the TD05 is a known good upgrade for the scooby
go to a garage that knows these engines

Td05 won't work well at all on an xud. Give it a miss mate, just swap turbos on his car for him and nick the td04!!

Straight off no, but with air and fuel mods you can just about get it to boil.

apparantly there is a plate on the TDO5 near the manifold that is in the way. had ago of the subaru didnt seem to pull that good. he says it needs a maf and another sensor though
