Can anyone shed some light on the oil capacity of the 2.0HDi?

Steel sump - 4.5 litres
Aliminium sump - 4.2 litres
difference between the max and min dipstick marks is 1.5litres

Don't just tip a full 5 litres in lol. I did that and it was miles over the max. Never caused a problem tho
