A long day at KrisB's. - Toby - 25-01-2012 Morning all, Spent a good 9 hours in KrisB's workshop yesterday, and felt it necessary to write him a quick recommendation ![]() In 9 hours, we managed to: -Change the clutch -Change the timing belt/water pump etc -Do an oil and filter change, and the fuel filter -Increase T2 pressure to 18psi -Fit 2 front lower arms -Paint all 4 calipers -Fit a twin air horn (Love this ![]() -"Fix" the tachometer -Listen to the KISS 100 playlist 27 times As per usual, Kris' workmanship was superb and the car now feels so much better to drive. So yes, if you ever need any work done I strongly recommend you drop Kris an email. Even if you're 100 miles away he is much better value than the mainstream garages. Be prepared to be on tea making duty though.. Re: A long day at KrisB's. - 4WayDiablo - 25-01-2012 I went up for a full service and bar being a bit cold it was a good day Even got lost after dropping him home lmao damn lack of signal lol But yeah he done a brilliant job and makes the car much better Re: A long day at KrisB's. - Flynn - 25-01-2012 Yeah KrisB is a living legend. Really decent working man as well. You can just tell he is a straight up proud man who puts in a hard days labour and then sits down for a hearty dinner. I would make a hundred teas for him when he's working on my car. He does things to the exact, to putting the little black dust covers over the suspension turrets for instance. His mechanical prowess and ingenuity know no bounds. Re: A long day at KrisB's. - Megamonkey - 25-01-2012 Flynn Wrote:Yeah KrisB is a living legend. Really decent working man as well. Are you aiming for a discount or something ![]() To be fair never had any work done by him but was decent bloke when I was enquiring about replacing my heater matrix, would have had it done too had the car survived.
