Seen this on facebook but the car is in kent its a 2.1 converted 306 r reg providence blue 5 door, fmic'ed, gearbox mounted turbo , bosch, looks mint but he says its useing water thinks it head gasket
Hers the lads profile if you look at his mobile up loads couple of pics in there and you can message him if interested i dont no the person but thought i would put it in here cos its a right bargain and if i could get it recovered to mine i would!

Not seen the photos, but from your description this popped up on here a little while back, and apparently what the guy reckoned had been done, and what people on here said had been done were two different things. It was obvious enough that people could tell from looking at photos that the car wasn't what he thought it was.

Photo in his mobile uploads shows its a 1.9 not a 2.1. Probably just thinks its a 2.1 because it probably came from a 406 with the fmic setup etc and he doesnt know much.

He ended up arguing that it was a 1.9 with 2.1 internals when I shew him a pic of a 2.1 block, he was a complete cock.

i had that in my mind thinking it looked exactly same as 1.9 but ive never seen a 2.1 engine so didnt no, £200 tho even so some one would make money brakeing it with the gearbox mount turbo and bosch and fmic over £200 there you mind about rest of the car

It's good for £200 but the quality of some of the work is shocking.
I'm pretty sure the engine was in a different shell & then loved across to a naff donor shell..
