Glow plug reccomendations. - silverzx - 04-02-2013

Going to change the glowies on the 205 as they need doing, last lot I bought were Duraterms that I got on the cheap off eBay.

Can anyone recommend any places to get them?

Not too bothered about having Duraterms again, just value for money without them being made of chocolate.

If all else fails I'll try my local motor store as they might be able to stock bosch items.

Much appreciated!

I'd try finding dura terms mate, they do last a lot longer than other brands like wellman.

had duraterms on my first dturbo, had it a year and a half and it never had trouble starting, just ordered 4 more off ebay there for my new engine, she's a little lumpy on startup just so hopefully cure that

I got Denso, they lasted about 3 weeks before I was having rough starting problems :/ They weren't the cheapest either.

Also NGK are getting a bad rep recently. I would stick to Bosch.

Damn it! Hoping this wouldn't be the case.

Duraterms work out around £40 which seems like a lot of money to me?

That's not bad, my Denso's were a bit more than that at full price, like £11 each.

Have you ever used public transport? Its a damn sight worse than driving your own car around and still expensive. £40 isn't a lot, buy them and be quiet.

I suppose if you consider the importance of them it isn't too bad and considering how long the Duraterms last.

I'm just tight.
