Running issues HELP - Slam Wagon - 02-02-2013

Ok so left work, revs were fine, just up the road and idle was bouncing around 1200 revs rather than the 750/800 mark. Pull off give it some revs and this seems to settle back down to normal.

Then at around 2750 mark when accelerating slowly it just stops reving and waits at the 2750 keep gently pushing the pedal down and it eventually continues reving more. When it pauses it feels like the car physically slows and if i accelerate hard from lower down it doesnt seem to have any problem.

Any ideas of what to try or where to look are greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ian

I had the same thing happen on mine before and it turned out to be the TPS. Is your MIL on and have you read any DTC's?

Throttle position sensor =tps

Is engine management light on?

Have you checked for fault codes via diagnostics port?

Theres a throttle position sensor repair guide on here somewhere.

Havent checked dignostics. No lights or anything. All running fine and now idling fine just a pause in the higher gears at those revs.
