turbo adapter plates - Piggy - 27-01-2013

Been searching around for someone to do me some for the 2.1...

and I need to recommend these guys

http://www.wellspacedout.co.uk/

You send a simple jpeg 2d drawing of what you need and they will do it.

He quoted 20quid for a one off plate or if you have 10, 5 quid each.

So if there are some common plates needed on here...maybe worth getting togetheir on it!

RE: turbo adapter plates - Piggy - 27-01-2013

RE: turbo adapter plates - CJ_Derv - 22-02-2013

This went well Wink

RE: turbo adapter plates - Piggy - 22-02-2013

....awwww so competitive

RE: turbo adapter plates - CJ_Derv - 22-02-2013

No competition pal Smile still waiting on your £10 plates you said you could get in my thread, yet these your advertising are £20 just doesnt add up tbh but thats just my opinion

RE: turbo adapter plates - Piggy - 22-02-2013

or £5 if 10 are ordered.

he did very similar ones that I needed for £8 each...so I bought them...only needed a little grinding to fit...5min and done

the thought was less to compete with you on the td04s...more that others are going towards GT turbos and thus there maybe a need for diff adapters...and at £5 each plus postage...seems good to me

RE: turbo adapter plates - CJ_Derv - 22-02-2013

Lolll

RE: turbo adapter plates - Piggy - 22-02-2013

whats so funny??

I aint running a td04 anymore so your plates were no good to me...

but the GT series need different plates so seems logical to me

Know what would be a good adapter?

Triangular T2 mani outlet flange to rectangular four bolt Garrett flange. Would be pretty universal fit for most newer Garrett turbos, only leaving the exhaust mani.

And maybe a square exhaust mani plate with the T2 elbow fitment, but blank for the turbo side so all someone needs to do is drill it to suit.

That would cover off a LOT of turbos then.

RE: turbo adapter plates - Piggy - 22-02-2013

yeah the 4bolter seems quite universal
