Project moonstone... passed MOT!!! :-) - kentiiboii - 24-01-2013 Decided it was time to let go of some of my money and buy another decent car! So I found on eBay a moonstone blue hdi in Eastwood. Car was listed at £1150 but I paid £875 with lots of haggling. Cars done 103k miles lots of history and been in the family from new. It was her husbands car who was a retired mechanic which died 5 years ago. She took the car on and took it to the only garage he trust which is the only local garage I trust as I know the owner. Cars mint inside and engine bay is tidy. It has a small unnoticeable dint on rear under boot which ill get dent master to sort. Also a paint chip under the drivers lock so needs a door. Such a nice drive and turbo pulls very well. Came with headlight protectors which are a nice touch. Rcl didn't work but replaced battery and resynced it no problem. RE: Project moonstone... Too busy changing tyres! I'd like to say I have a list of updates but I don't really. Fitted my old flat wipers. Got rid of the shitty aftermarket gear knob fir a nice 307 one. Just recieved 2x black leather with blue stitching gaiters. To do's Still need to service which parts are there waiting. Fit gear gaiter and handbrake. Remove old fashioned Nokia hands free kit. Re-wire stereo loom and fit my stereo. Refurbish aidels again. Go to Simons to upload my old map file. Also in deals with Simon for his exhaust system. To say me n mrs are getting married and moving out soon. So I'm skint! So much more stuff are happening than the old one. Still looking for a moonstone drivers door. Went scrap yard and there was a moonstone 5 door in but drivers door had a dint. Project moonstone... Attempt 2! - kentiiboii - 04-03-2013 Right car has been serviced today feels nicer to drive . Fitted 307 gear knob and fitted my new gear gaiters. Also fitted rear bumper from my old hdi. Will fit front bumper on Thursday. . Will be going to see Simon to get my stage1 loaded. Also buying a straight through exhaust from him. Will be fitting my aidels Thursday hopefully if all goes well. They'll be refurbished in summer time though. Also been quoted from a friend to get my smoothed bonnet, boot and grill painted inside and out. £150 so very tempting RE: Project moonstone... Re: Project moonstone... Attempt 2! - kentiiboii - 28-03-2013 Right so a little update as not much has gone on with thus due to being too cold. Changed my rear bumper to my old one as this had few paint chips. Also got some new 15" wheels from the 207 for a swap for my swallows. Theyre very good condition one has little curbing. Fitting my old front bumper along with hids in fog lighgs when I get chance over the week end. Here a few pictures. One when wheels where fitted then today after a quick wash.
