really like this mate and the wheels set the car right off

have you fixed the front bummper yet ?

RE: Ph1 Diablo D-turbo - 173bhp 250lbsft T25 XUD - Jenkosowls - 03-11-2012

Cheers matey I'm getting happy with how the car sitting needs a tad lower in the front. Bumper hasn't been fixed just stitched I'm in 2 minds to fix the bumper as the rest of the car isn't exactly tidy just mechanically sound so adds to the charecter and shed like qualities

RE: Ph1 Diablo D-turbo - 173bhp 250lbsft T25 XUD - parrotveasey81 - 03-11-2012

nice work
loving that strut brace, been thinking about making one up like that but was not too sure if there was enough room under the bonnet for one like that

Really like the work you've done.

My cars a very similar spec so would be interesting to see my dyno results in comparison.

Updat due where updates are due only small one mind. Ripps sorted me up a solid rear mount to sort the screwed one at the moment. So this weekend hopefully that'll be getting fitted along with p bushes

Your dashboard is going to fall off.

Without a doubt.

Will be very interesting to hear what you think of that mount!

RE: Ph1 Diablo D-turbo - 173bhp 250lbsft T25 XUD - ozonehostile - 06-12-2012

just noticed the prius badge haha
i was considering a "powered by fairydust" sticker for mine and if i dont do it, somebody on here needs to put one on a smokey dtub haha

RE: Ph1 Diablo D-turbo - 173bhp 250lbsft T25 XUD - Rippthrough - 06-12-2012

I was gonna put one on mine, then write underneath it:

"I grind the little bastards by hand"

RE: Ph1 Diablo D-turbo - 173bhp 250lbsft T25 XUD - Jenkosowls - 11-12-2012

well 11mm pump fitted over the weekend still allot of fine tuning to sort out the smoke it produces! but it bloody pulls now shoots right round the rev gauge now. bit boggy when going from 2nd-3rd but still plenty of refining to sort it out. certainly the t25 like more fuel thats been given.

Also done various servicing changed bushes on the wish bones car is handling much much better. Also the rear solid mount is on and its not as bad as you may think tbh yes it vibrates when idliing but not dramatic. once engines up to speed it virtually disappears and cruisng just like normal.

Thats all i can up date with atm no real pictures were taken

RE: Ph1 Diablo D-turbo - 173bhp 250lbsft T25 XUD - strictly_perv - 11-12-2012

Good work. I've got a solid fork bush on mine and it's not too bad, really stiffened it up when booting it.

RE: Ph1 Diablo D-turbo - 173bhp 250lbsft T25 XUD - Jenkosowls - 18-12-2012

Cheers max!

Well minor update car was pulling like i beast! then it died well the pump did. something really stupid seems to have gone wrong and now having to run the pump like its a tuned 9mm pump spoke to Dan! and hopefully may get some where to how it was.

But chucked on the dyno in its poorly state only boosting around 25psi not hoping for much. but in the end it pulled 170bhp and 248lbsft so not to bad to say its running crap! the graph was quite nice too which il put up at some point. only took it to 4k at that too.

So once iv found out whats up with the pump itl go back on then i may look down water meths route for the final power mod. Then may sack all the oem stuff off and go for bigger!

RE: Ph1 Diablo D-turbo - 173bhp 250lbsft T25 XUD - Tom - 19-12-2012

170 from a t25 at 25psi and its running poorly you say? Sounds pretty good to me! Big Grin

RE: Ph1 Diablo D-turbo - 173bhp 250lbsft T25 XUD - Jenkosowls - 19-12-2012

made slightly more power on the 9mm although this one is more grunty low down. was pretty pokey before the pump problem

RE: Ph1 Diablo D-turbo - 173bhp 250lbsft T25 XUD - Danny2009 - 19-12-2012

Defiantly made it more lively with the 11mm get it sorted and back on the rollers

RE: Ph1 Diablo D-turbo - 173bhp 250lbsft T25 XUD - Jenkosowls - 19-12-2012

Right Graph time first up the last run the car did on the 9mm pump.

And here is what it did on the 11mm poorly pump
[Image: sc0000-1_zpsf57c08dc.png]

As you may notice the 9mm pump was making peak power at 4.3k where as the 11mm pump is making peak power at 3.6k a so isnt needed to be driven as hard! although i think once the pump is sorted the peak power maybe even lower down as it isnt as pokey as it was.

So in essence the 11mm has woken the turbo up much lower down!

RE: Ph1 Diablo D-turbo - 173bhp 250lbsft T25 XUD - HDIkyle - 05-01-2013

Any ideas whats wrong with the pump? Should have said you were going to dyno i want to put the Saxo on hehe

RE: Ph1 Diablo D-turbo - 173bhp 250lbsft T25 XUD - Rippthrough - 06-01-2013

Inlet manifold leaking by the look of it he reckons.

Silkaflex ftw.

RE: Ph1 Diablo D-turbo - 173bhp 250lbsft T25 XUD - Ben - 06-01-2013

Doesn't look like the 9mm is making peak power at 4.3k to me, looks more like 3.5k :/ Is my graph reading really bad?!

RE: Ph1 Diablo D-turbo - 173bhp 250lbsft T25 XUD - Pugmarshall - 06-01-2013

9mm is peak @ 3.5k rpm, 11m peak is @ 3.7k rpm....

RE: Ph1 Diablo D-turbo - 173bhp 250lbsft T25 XUD - Jenkosowls - 06-01-2013

Pumps fine seems a combination of boost leak around the inlet manifold and slight play in the wastegate. mine isn't welded shut its held shut by threaded bar. And the nut had come lose slightly alowing afte to open a tad.

If you look at the I formation below graphs where it say engine power corrected it states at what rpm peak power is made. Both 9mm and 11mm made peak power below 4k

Car is currently back on top mount......
