I fitted mine slightly different. I drilled a whole just above the gap for the original tow eye. I duno if it will hold if I ever get towed but it looks good

Took this out earlier, been a bit neglected as I've been using the other one.
Bloody stone stuck somewhere on the rear arch, couldn't find the bugger though.
Made quite a funny noise:

Well the MOT is up on this a lot sooner than I thought, 20th if this month
. It may well have to stay off the road for a while, although I don't think it needs anything, I could do without spending the money and putting the cat back on.
