RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Dum-Dum - 15-10-2013 most of them are non issues. MAP sensor - either broken or doesnt like the calibration of your new one Diesel temp - check wiring if not replace sensor EGR - LOL 3rd piston deactivation - LOL Fan high speed - Aftermarket fans and wiring? Fan Low speed - Aftermarket fans and wiring? TL4226 - f*ck knows? RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Jimmer021 - 15-10-2013 Well I was wondering whether the map sensor fault could be causing the issue with the boost. Fans is because there is no fans connect It comes up with diesel temp fault but shows temp on live data? RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Dum-Dum - 15-10-2013 Yeah a map sensor fault could cause boost issues RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Jimmer021 - 15-10-2013 When my laptop is charged I can take it out for a drive with love data on so I can see what the map sensor and boost selenoid is doing As I haven't really put any pics up, here it is all back together ![]() 2.2 Dimma Hdi - devils_fuel - 15-10-2013 Loving the car ![]() RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Poodle - 16-10-2013 TL4226 is the pre-heater circuit, comes up on pretty much every hdi and makes feck all difference. RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Piggy - 16-10-2013 looks sooo fricking mean RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Cezeli - 17-10-2013 Looks fantastic dude Mine is going for a respray in the same colour (Dandelion Yellow). Can't wait to get it done! RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Jimmer021 - 08-11-2013 Right I have tried a new map sensor and still no joy :/ It's peaking around 16/17 psi at about 4.5 to 5k rpm There is such a short amount of rpm that it holds boost for though you loose boost when changing gear! Checked all the vacuum pipes with a vac gauge and that's was all good. Gonna try adjusting the boost selenoid but can't see that making a difference. So I am wondering whether there is a wiring fault somewhere? If that is the case I'm thinking of getting a new engine loom and starting again As it will be easier than trying to trace back through the loom which is already modified and still quite a mess. RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Ruan - 08-11-2013 Is the actuator moving when you move the throttle? It sounds to me as if it has no control whatsoever over the actuator... You could do with getting a multimeter that will show you duty cycle and sticking it on the wires to the solenoid... RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Jimmer021 - 08-11-2013 No it doesn't do anything when you rev it, we put a multi meter on it and there was no volts going to it for control of the actuator RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Ruan - 08-11-2013 Ah - well there's your problem then lol... Check the pins out the ECU for voltage - see if it's a break on the harness or an actual ECU issue. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VC97-3999-AUTO-RANGE-DIGITAL-LCD-VOLTMETER-MULTIMETER-TESTER-AMMETER-AC-DC-OHM-/321133117131?pt=UK_BOI_Electrical_Test_Measurement_Equipment_ET&hash=item4ac5067ecb One of those will be very useful for seeing the duty cycle %age ... RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Jimmer021 - 08-11-2013 Yeah that's why I thought wiring fault, if it turns out to be an ecu fault then I'm not sure about getting another map for it RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Ruan - 08-11-2013 Do you know what ECU this runs? Is it the EDC15 from the 2.2 itself... Or is it an 8v HDi ECU remapped to suit the 2.2HDi? Can you get the part number from the ECU itself? RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - puglove - 08-11-2013 Slap an S16 back in it, make it back into a real dimma and all your problems will be solved ![]() RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Aaron35 - 08-11-2013 That's the same engine as mine, apart from yours is more awesome, I love having blue things under the bonnet. RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Jimmer021 - 08-11-2013 When I plugged it into peugeot planet it came up as 406 110 ecu, which would be 2.0 8v RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Ruan - 09-11-2013 So at least the pinout is the same... Should be able to grab the wires from the ECU and check for voltage there. If there's nothing there, sounds like it's in proper limp mode, or the solenoid driver in the ECU is toast, though I seriously doubt that. RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Jimmer021 - 13-12-2013 Done a bit of testing today, according to autodata when the ign is on the variable ground signal wire for the boost actuator which is ecu pin 26 should read between 11 and 14v for 2 seconds then drop to 0v, but mine stays at 11.6v and doesn't drop, so guessing there is a fault in the ecu? And found my multimeter with duty cycle on but it's stopped working so couldn't try that RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Jimmer021 - 23-12-2013 Here are few photos we took last weekend: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Kezzieboy - 23-12-2013 f*cking stunning, such an awesome car! Still got a load of photoshops of different wheel colours for this car from back in't day. RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Jimmer021 - 23-12-2013 Thank you, still got some bits to do to getting it looking perfect but its getting there now ![]() RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - mcvite - 23-12-2013 That looks absolutely stunning mate, love the colour keep the good work up,well done ![]() RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Dum-Dum - 23-12-2013 God she's gorgeous ![]() RE: 2.2 Dimma Hdi - Poodle - 23-12-2013 That really does look incredible, is she 100% now?
