RE: Puglove's onxy 'state, HDI ADVICE NEEDED!!! - titch - 08-08-2013

That pulley looks like it is on it's last legs, mine was like that, and then a bit later a big shard of metal came out from the centre which can slice the cam belt, luckily mine didn't it was wedged up by the power steering pump. If it was me i would change it as soon as.

Pic of mine, and the big shard of metal......

ALEX!!!!

That code relates to a belt for a 2.2 boxer. is this correct for AC delete ?? have you used it?

RE: Puglove's onxy 'state, HDI ADVICE NEEDED!!! - Piggy - 09-08-2013

that sounds about right...one with a a/c is around 1700....sometimes its trial and error though.
you bottom pulley needs doing dood

RE: Puglove's onxy 'state, HDI ADVICE NEEDED!!! - rd070707 - 09-08-2013

I got my pulley off eBay for 40 something quid for a solid 307 replacement, think a few on here used that one. And I'm also pretty sure there's a thread on here somewhere with the size of the belt needed for ac removal

Whats happened to the steelies? Cyclones look OK, but they're the magnolia of the wheel world IMO..abit bland.

RE: Puglove's onxy 'state, HDI ADVICE NEEDED!!! - puglove - 10-08-2013

Sooo , its running once again!!! FFS lol, But yeah went down ECP this morning and got all my bits & bobs, Had a right PITA to get the bottom pulley off, but all come good in the end. Also done away with the AC pump aswell, as the pulley on that was making a load of noise.

Big thanks to Alex (poodle) for the help & Advice on this

Oh And I got this little lot from ECP for £67 :S work that out??? Dirt cheap???

RE: Puglove's onxy 'state, HDI ADVICE NEEDED!!! - cully - 10-08-2013

RE: Puglove's onxy 'state, HDI ADVICE NEEDED!!! - 306Puggy - 10-08-2013

Holy f*ck. My crankshaft pulley is looking a little worse for wear so I went on carparts4less.co.uk and it seems you can get a crankshaft pulley for £34 pounds which I am guessing is the one you've got. I know yours is an HDi but I am guessing you have fitted a DT one because the HDi ones are more fragile. But one thing that makes me nervous about that cheap crankshaft pulley is that there is another one listed as "OE quality" which is twice the price of the cheap £34 pound one! Bit suspicious.

RE: Puglove's onxy 'state, HDI ADVICE NEEDED!!! - puglove - 10-08-2013

The one I got is a "gates" one which is fairly good quality so im not worried at all

RE: Puglove's onxy 'state, HDI ADVICE NEEDED!!! - 306Puggy - 10-08-2013

How the hell did you get it so cheap?

RE: Puglove's onxy 'state, up & running.... but for how long? - Poodle - 11-08-2013

Looking good but clones are too small for an estate.

Haha Andy you fatty!!

RE: Puglove's onxy 'state, up & running.... but for how long? - rd070707 - 07-10-2013

Looks sex on the clones imo, but challengers would be nice or banded steels and it would be the wagon!

RE: Puglove's onxy 'state, up & running.... but for how long? - puglove - 17-10-2013

Riiiiiiiiiggghhhhttt I tried to keep the fogs in this car and do something different to the other two but.......... i couldn't do it so the lovely kerry bought me some blanks from peugeot when she took it in for MOT, so when i got home tonight i got on and jammed them in,

much cleaner much nicer IMO

Puglove's onxy 'state, up & running.... but for how long? - devils_fuel - 17-10-2013

I'm not a lover of the blanks Jamie, the yellow fogs broke up the dark front end...but then again it's not my tractor lol

RE: Puglove's onxy 'state, up & running.... but for how long? - sam - 17-10-2013
