just go big danny simple as, you want a car with power, you have the shell, so why not just go the full hog, rather than half throttle?

RE: Danny's 7th D turbo, *AND THEN THERE WAS 3* - Danny2009 - 28-10-2013

It was just down to money really I planned on rebuilding a spare engine up but didn't expect it to let go this quick!

sods law for you Dan, try having a engine die on you before your car has hardly moved on its own steam. at least you have had time to test and setup.

RE: Danny's 7th D turbo, *AND THEN THERE WAS 3* - Danny2009 - 29-10-2013

like dajavu lol, least i got to see flying conrods in the rear view mirror this time

Not sure what engine is going back in but what ever goes in needs a forged bottom end.

should be pulling the engine out today and strip it down see what the real damage is

RE: Danny's 7th D turbo, *DAMAGE PICTURE* - CJ_Derv - 29-10-2013

Is it me or does the cylinder nearest box always go? Gutted for ya lad but ul have it back on the road in no time still need to come up.soon

RE: Danny's 7th D turbo, *DAMAGE PICTURE* - Danny2009 - 29-10-2013

You do, may have it back on the road by then :p

Last time I spat a rod it was the other side of the block

Looks like the bolts/end caps gave way rather than the rods

Least this time it hasn't made so much mess last time all the car was covered in oil
