RE: ph1 cherry red sedan. new turbo. - padge - 23-10-2013

kinda confused here, oil feed & return on the same flange?

big hole return? small one pressure? or opposite way round?

and those are waterways?

RE: ph1 cherry red sedan. new turbo VNT. - Chris_90 - 23-10-2013

People are gonna need to no what turbo it is to help?

If you think there water holes is there 2 other holes on it some were for oil in and out?

RE: ph1 cherry red sedan. new turbo VNT. - padge - 23-10-2013

in the pictures, they are the only holes, im just confused as to what is what, its a GT2559V

RE: ph1 cherry red sedan. new turbo VNT. - Tom - 23-10-2013

2056v?

Second picture looks like waterways. First ones a bit strange :/

RE: ph1 cherry red sedan. new turbo VNT. - Chris_90 - 23-10-2013

It is strange think best bet is Google look at the same turbos see if you can work it out

RE: ph1 cherry red sedan. new turbo VNT. - padge - 23-10-2013

there is one image on google, of someone bodging the lines for return and pressure, and they look like there on the same flange, I still don't know though.

so I now know the top picture is the one needed, but which one is oil drain and which is oil pressure? ignore the bottom pic, they are waterways.

RE: ph1 cherry red sedan. new turbo VNT. - padge - 23-10-2013

right, big one is drain, small one is pressure.

RE: ph1 cherry red sedan. new turbo VNT. - Dum-Dum - 23-10-2013

Kinda stumped on them oil/water ways as they are only 90* to each other not the usual 180* and also none of them appear to be threaded.

Have a look at how its mounted on the original car and the top "should" be the feed

RE: ph1 cherry red sedan. new turbo VNT. - padge - 23-10-2013

ive been looking around forums, and it seems the big one is the drain, small is pressure, and yeah, you just use a flange instead of an actual line.

RE: ph1 cherry red sedan. new turbo VNT. - Dave - 24-10-2013

Why not just run some oil through and find out ....
