Havent got any plans in march atm, so whatever weekend you want is fine, just give me somr warning. I have anXU alternator and pas pump in the garage that can go in if needed.

Was done many years ago with a Cosworth powered Escort Van

The car is much older than that thread.

Haha, 2 of those shots are my mate's van, the one with the stickerbombed wing and the kayak on the roof!

Also, I can probably do some funky seat retrimmage if it's wanted...

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - Poodle - 18-02-2013

That second one has been chop-topped hasn't it? Side profile's not quite right...

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - ozonehostile - 18-02-2013

i think it should be heavily influenced by Pete's van. but another +1 for 2 tone color scheme Smile

By making it leaky at dented? lol

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - Scott - 20-02-2013

Had a drive in this earlier this evening...as it's on veg (probably 70% veg and 30% diesel) it struggled to start a little in the cold, so I chucked a tenner's worth of diesel in it and it's running perfectly!

I just can't wait to get it lowered, it's going to look epic.

Also having seen how easily Chris managed to respray the estate, I think it'd be a good idea to give this a fresh coat of red (not 100% on which shade though) if it's as cheap as what I'm expecting.

it always did have a little trouble starting in the cold for 30 seconds or so but quickly sorted its self out.
And i doubt it will need a respray. cut it right back and get a good coat of wax on it and it should be fine!

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - karl1989 - 20-02-2013

whats chances of putting a 306 front end on it Big Grin

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - Scott - 20-02-2013

We did consider that, but aside from fitment issues I think it'd be difficult to swing with the insurance.

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - puglove - 21-02-2013

Needs the rear side windows?!!

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - Scott - 23-02-2013

Bumping to give the support wagon some rep for its efforts today, moving the rallye, on top of being awesome for helping clear out my garage this weekend and scrapping a load of shit. I had about 100kg of stuff in the back (on top of the engine, gearbox etc.) and the height on the rear was looking a lot better on the back.

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - Pompey306mark - 23-02-2013

Maybe look at plasti dip spraying the van. Would be something different. You can spray it like paint.

Check out dipyourcar.com in the US, for some ideas.

Saying you have 100k in the back of your van is so misleading lol! I take it you mean 100kg? Moar pics of the van!!

You should have 306oc support vehicle on the sides just for the shits and giggles and I am liking the half black with smoothed grill.
