Re: Stage 3 XUD project - Dan! - 24-01-2012 'nawwww, car fwwends! :romance-inlove: Re: Stage 3 XUD project - padge - 24-01-2012 I really dont fancy smashing my bulkhead to bits to fit a turbo.. Re: Stage 3 XUD project - 4WayDiablo - 24-01-2012 padge Wrote:I really dont fancy smashing my bulkhead to bits to fit a turbo..fair point ![]() i think it will look alright! Re: Stage 3 XUD project - darrenjlobb - 24-01-2012 You deffo wont need to smash the bulkhead to fit a gt28 down there.... Re: Stage 3 XUD project - silverzx - 24-01-2012 darrenjlobb Wrote:You deffo wont need to smash the bulkhead to fit a gt28 down there.... Your welcome to prove it on my car Darren. Re: Stage 3 XUD project - darrenjlobb - 24-01-2012 With a correct maniflold angle adapter, I dont even think you would need to smash the bulkhead to fit VNT's down there...let alone wastegate blowers, a td04 fits there with loads of room provided you mount it up well... Re: Stage 3 XUD project - Dave - 28-01-2012 I can guarantee the turbo I have on now, is much bigger in physical size than a GT28 and I have that down the back of the block. Re: Stage 3 XUD project - devils_fuel - 28-01-2012 Smh.....horrible Not ![]() Re: Stage 3 XUD project - padge - 29-01-2012 But it will look so good box mounted ![]() Re: Stage 3 XUD project - Ruan - 29-01-2012 As I've said so many times before, it'll look like someone has mounted a peanut ontop of the gearbox. They aren't big. Re: Stage 3 XUD project - Atterz - 29-01-2012 ![]() Now that looks good box mounted. Re: Stage 3 XUD project - mark_airey - 29-01-2012 Its attached to one of those silly petrol things though..................... ![]() Stage 3 XUD project - Matt - 29-01-2012 ^^^ that's the good thing about it ![]() Re: Stage 3 XUD project - Atterz - 29-01-2012 Hoping for about 600BHP i think he said. Re: Stage 3 XUD project - 4WayDiablo - 29-01-2012 Well i loke where this is going :-) Re: Stage 3 XUD project - darrenjlobb - 29-01-2012 Atterz Wrote: Yes, but thats a GT35, not a 28lol.... On another note, so epic to see someone finally getting around to doing a 6 properly on the 306 forums ![]() Re: Stage 3 XUD project - Atterz - 29-01-2012 Mate i know that is not a GT28 ![]() ![]() Re: Stage 3 XUD project - padge - 29-01-2012 The gain would be my satisfaction. Re: Stage 3 XUD project - Atterz - 29-01-2012 Good answer ![]() Re: Stage 3 XUD project - padge - 03-02-2012 I dont think it's going to do well tommorow on the RR, the fuel still dies off way before 5k, and the boost just dies, huge flat spot, i dont think it's been gov modded, and wound the pump up, but it wont go higher without the idle going up, even with it fully adjusted using cold/warm start screws :/ Re: Stage 3 XUD project - Ruan - 03-02-2012 If it's a T25, it's peak tq will be at around 3300 and peak power coming in at around 4300... You'll probably find that the pump has been govmodded it just can't pull the fuel up, like all VEs. This is the problem everyone has. What will it rev to on the spot? Oh and don't battery box the turbo, this really is turning into a diablo copy of Darren's car... And you won't need to bash the bulkhead in to fit a 28R or RS down the back... When you see the housing size of a VNT, you'll understand why I had to... A 28RS is not much physically bigger than a T25, the turbine wheel for the most part is the same, and uses the same turbine housing. |
