RE: Project Truck Turbo MkII - ozonehostile - 10-06-2013 I didn't mean to say downpipe, I'm getting the probe put into the manifold side in the straight section as close to the outlet as possible and I'm not that concerned about melting the probe as its a chunky little thing, and as darren says, I would certainly know if my egts were that hot. Fail on my behalf lol RE: Project Truck Turbo MkII - ozonehostile - 10-06-2013 Bit more shiney hording: New boost pipes, very nice kit, genuine mikalor clamps and all the pipes have swaged ends which was a pleasant surprise and has saved me a job doing it myself ![]() ![]() just waiting for manifold/exhaust heatwrap to turn up and my battery cutoff things to come now RE: Project Truck Turbo MkII - Piggy - 10-06-2013 sweet... where do you get ya heatwrap from? and noticed you used bit of heat shielding for some pipe...same, where from? Really? Ive never had glare off a 306, well not enough to annoy me anyway. 405 dash was terrible for glare so by comparison I guess I don't notice RE: Project Truck Turbo MkII - Piggy - 12-06-2013 and because /racecar RE: Project Truck Turbo MkII - Anton - 12-06-2013 Boys you know you can get brand new indicator lenses for about £6 each? RE: Project Truck Turbo MkII - ozonehostile - 13-06-2013 (13-06-2013, 06:43 AM)Piggy Wrote: why did you need the spacer?! Long story, basically I'm using a 16 row oil cooler and binning the oem water cooled plate, I'm using two sandwich plates, one for the cooler, one for the temp sensor and pressure sensor, these two plates together art quite the same thickness as the original so I need a spacer over the locking nut as they would be loose other wise.
