Oh wow, you get a Kinect free, so well done, you can now be watched 24/7 by your Kinect. The consoles may be similar, but the PS4 is a more powerful machine and FYI Sony win this still as Microsoft tried to pull this shit in the first place and even Microsoft have admitted defeat by practically morphing their console into a PS4. And "like a PS3 but with better graphics" the PS3 in almost every area beat the Xbox whether it was power, reliability, exclusives, anywhere. It was just the typical fanboys that couldn't admit it that won't ever agree, because well, they're Xbox elitists. PlayStation has a history of making great gaming consoles and Sony make great games, that should be more than enough for you to stick with them if you have PS3. The mere amount of the actual gaming community that are against Microsoft right now beggers belief and even though Microsoft are trying to change it, they still hate them.

It's completely pointless to argue about this. If you want to discuss the merits of each, and why your money is going on it... fair enough. Saying "FYI Sony win this still" is bollocks and only going to to fuel the fire.
At the end of the day it's down to OPINION which one is better and therefore which one you buy.
I know after all this I'll be buying an XB1.

" the PS3 in almost every area beat the Xbox" all you have to do is look at the sales figures of the 360 compared to the PS3.. to see that it didn't in one key area... SALES which funnily enough relates directly to every other aspect you listed..
If you don't like the console and aren't planning on buying one, don't? rather than spouting all this "oh xbox suck and sony is amazeballs" typical fanboy argument bollocks..
I'm not planning on getting a PS4 now but i'm not slating it either, both are going to be good consoles just my personal preference is the xbox one...

Actually, Danny, at this point the PS3 has sold more than the 360. Just. Doesn't hold much relevance to me though, it's preference at the end of the day. It's just the fanboys that do my head in

Fair enough and to be honest, yes, preference is all it will ever come down to. To be fair i posted a poll 2 pages ago and actually didn't intend for an ongoing argument about games consoles on a car forum.
I will be buying the PS4. There we go.

Built a games pc for £150 including a couple of left over bits like a 150gb hard drive and case with the front hanging off, and that'll play pretty much anything going right about now.
I won't be buying either but I want them to release so the 360 drops in value and I can pick one of the slim ones up for cheaper for the uni house, since although pc's are awesome a console is just the best for slapping cod zombies on the big tv and going split screen with a couple of chums.

Dude am talking about 2004 when far cry came out cudnt even get half decent ram back then for 150 quid. You lot were all still in nappies

To be honest, releasing a Gran Turismo any time soon is wrong, as the out come would basically be a polished up GT5 with new cars and tracks... They should just work to make GT6 for PS4 then you have more power to play with. The GT6 demo didn't feel or play too bad however, but yeah, felt just like GT5...
To be honest, being Polyphony, GT6 won't be out for another 5 years...
