RE: Black DT VNT XUD Wagon - Ruan - 23-06-2012 No difference mate, you just switch the studs over into the other positions on the bracket, it's got 6 holes, 3 are Bosch, 3 are Lucas... No such thing as a "Bosch" or a "Lucas" bracket - all the same, just depends which holes you shove the studs in ![]() And cheers, no one really expects it no, clanky old XUD with some chavvy seats and some red wheels... Think they were about £170, I've not actually paid for them yet... But they were around that mark. Oh and forgot to say, head studs don't fit... Spacers are wrong - just need to be slightly thicker, not that major at least. Black DT VNT XUD Wagon - Jtrigga - 24-06-2012 Loving the down swept exhaust to stop all the coal on the rear end. But what happened to the citroen steering wheel ![]() RE: Black DT VNT XUD Wagon - Ruan - 24-06-2012 I love the corsica, feels SO much better... Not so much like driving a bus! RE: Black DT VNT XUD Wagon - puglove - 24-06-2012 Cheers ruan. Bosch pump is ready to go on then . Will just have to bend the T2 waste gate arm lol. The vnt had got the element of suprise to it. I do love it . I didnt realise what a beast it was untill i was talking to Ed at fcs. Had me fooled. ![]() RE: Black DT VNT XUD Wagon - sweeney1987 - 29-06-2012 what a shite project thread ya lazy bum, wheres the start of it ![]() RE: Black DT VNT XUD Wagon - Ruan - 05-12-2012 Kinda updated mofos. RE: Black DT VNT XUD Wagon - Ricky - 05-12-2012 So the whole lifting the head thing, is that to do with too much low end torque? Would a GT2052s cause the same problem do you think? RE: Black DT VNT XUD Wagon - Ruan - 05-12-2012 Couldn't say for certain, torque definitely seems to be a contributing factor - it's high cylinder pressures that cause it, so yeah, torque will be a major factor... Would a GT2052s cause the same problem do you think? Doesn't sound promising for me! Haha RE: Black DT VNT XUD Wagon - Ruan - 05-12-2012 It's the fact they spool so quick and can combust the fuel properly at lower RPMs... The smaller turbine doesn't help matters, but it's what you pay for having instantly quick spool... RE: Black DT VNT XUD Wagon - Ricky - 05-12-2012 So being easy on the throttle at low revs would help things a bit? RE: Black DT VNT XUD Wagon - Ruan - 05-12-2012 Definitely... Your clutch will thank you for it, also. RE: Black DT VNT XUD Wagon - Ricky - 05-12-2012 I have a CG paddle clutch ![]() RE: Black DT VNT XUD Wagon - Ruan - 05-12-2012 Well, in fairness, this one, probably never... I'm probably going to stick the new engine in the GTis shell, it's the most sensible option. RE: Black DT VNT XUD Wagon - strictly_perv - 05-12-2012 Looks like a good plan, keep updated. Can't wait to sort out a new turbo for mine. RE: Black DT VNT XUD Wagon - Eeyore - 05-12-2012 looks good! Thought it was epic when you did a cheeky wave and boosted past me on the way from Camping to FCS! ![]() RE: Black DT VNT XUD Wagon - Ruan - 05-12-2012 I want to hear that section of video without music where I nail it out the junction still, I'm 99% it's me lighting the crap out of 2nd and 3rd out the junction - LAWL. |
