In the past I've been a mechanic, worked behind bars and managed pubs, been a plasterer, a brickies labourer, a door supervisor, a school caretaker, and a few other things. I also coach a rugby league team at under 16s level on a voluntary basis, having spent years playing the game. Have another job that requires all sorts of groundwork, piling, engine changing, plant operation and maintenance and a bit of skip lorry driving when my main job goes quiet. Will be returning to the University of Birmingham to get my MEng in Mechanical Engineering (automotive) with industrial studies (longest degree title ever!) in September though. Not bad for a poor kid from Cornwall! Glad I got in before the fees tripled and they took away the grants though! Anyway I've got 3 Jobs, mainly I work in a small bodyshop called Gull Custom doin mostly damage repair but do work with AC Schnitzer UK spraying and fitting bodykits so do get to work on some very special cars, I also work for Pains Fireworks doin huge shows all over the country, if anyone was at The Lord Mayors Parade in Norwich the other week I was the guy on top of the roof ![]() |
