My S2 has LOADS of space in front of the rad, is the rad still in it's original place? Maybe the s1 has less of a gap? I never really noticed. Not sure if it helps, but on my mrs nad, doesnt matter if you rag, cruise or sit in traffic, temp never goes above halfway... Only thing going for it is its got a 12month old gen rad.
