RE: New Daily - Fiat Punto Grande 1.9 MJet - Added Pictures - silverzx - 04-04-2014

Anyone have an idea what size wheel these take.?

RE: New Daily - Fiat Punto Grande 1.9 MJet - Added Pictures - silverzx - 04-04-2014

Basically been offered some OZ's for it but want to be 100% sure they fit as I can't trial fit them before paying (cars stuck where it is due to flat tyre).

Anyone know what they are?

Here's some pictures of the wheels in question:

Worth a punt, someone might know.

Same as my old rims Trent, I want them on MYA Sad

New Daily - Fiat Punto Grande 1.9 MJet - Added Pictures - silverzx - 05-04-2014

I bought them this morning, they fit, center bore is smaller in punto so needs one of those spacer things.

Also found out it has locking wheel nuts that I don't have they key for, luckily Toyotas box if locking wheel nuts had the right one in!

Also treating them to a set of new 195/55/15s.

RE: New Daily - Fiat Punto Grande 1.9 MJet - Added Pictures - silverzx - 12-04-2014

Need a set of spigot rings to convert from Fiat fitment (56.1) to whatever these are as the bolts will eventually work themselves loose.

Also need a new wheel more than likely as it hum's like a bad man... Censored

Probably wouldn't hurt to get the poundland black spray paint on the go for a touch up of the alloys either..

Full valet, paint correction, polish & wax and new set of tyres all round:

Did an oil filter & oil change last night. What a ball ache! The oil fitler is enclosed in a casing above the drivers side driveshaft behind the back of the engine!

Also, my OBD2 blue tooth adapters arrived so I'll be looking at getting the app to work on the Nexus later.

I need to reset the maintenance spanner warning now somehow.

Also fitted my spigot rings to help hold the wheels on.

These don't map too badly tbf, EDC16 IIRC and they're from the same stable as the GM CDTi motors so there's lots of options out there.

Feel free to elaborate Ruan. Blush

It has a GT1749MV, good for 210 bhp?
FMIC as standard.
Engine code: M737 PUNTO 130CV / (Z19DT? / 1.9TiD?).

Everyone on FiatForum uses RedDot.

Surely TB/JammaPic/ProSteve/MrWhippy could have a pop at it. Tongue

Wiki info on engine: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JTD_engine

Info:
The Multijet second generation features a common-rail design and is available with seven different power outputs. The 8-valve version has 100 PS (74 kW; 99 hp), 120 PS (88 kW; 120 hp) or 130 PS (96 kW; 130 hp), the last four with variable geometry turbocharger; and the 16-valve version have 134 PS (100 kW; 136HP), 138 PS (103 kW; 140HP), 150 PS (110 kW; 150 hp) or 170 PS (130 kW; 170 hp).

Opel also uses a version of this engine. Their CDTI engine, manufactured in Pratola Serra, Italy and Kaiserslautern, Germany, is the product of the half-decade joint venture between GM and Fiat. I think Steve and JP have had a play with EDC16 in the past, they are a bit different since they're torque based ECUs rather than IQ based like EDC15, but there's a good bit of info out there on them tbf...

Yeah, should be good for ~180-200hp at a guess...

Yours is an 8v, right?

Yes, as far as I understand it's an 8v and the Punto's never came with the 16v.
