Things to bear in mind with the arches, they have that weir dimpled texture that most plastics have, so you would need to get serious with the sand paper, and/or filler/filler primer to smooth them off.
I'm not going to bother as, all being well, I would like to wide arch the rear of this over winter

Yeah been and done it before with sand paper and black plastics 4 hours it took!
determination. Will have to think about it, not sure if it will look the orignal look I want. But not sure what look I want atm, keto thinking track but cannot decide.

Thats longer than I would have stuck at it, fair play!
Beauty of it is; you can screw them to the lip inside the arch, so if you don't like it, you can easily take them off and nobody would be the any-the-wiser
