RE: Ell Diablo - MOT Passed! - Grant - 24-01-2014 Cheers for the comments guys It definately is the best part of working in your car. Just bolting stuff on can Only get you so much satisfaction. Building something from scratch and then it all working fine, that's sense if acheivement there. That said, I've still gotta finish it might not fit :p RE: Ell Diablo - MOT Passed! - Grant - 24-01-2014 Well, its in! All fits, snug as a bug. Just gotta paint it now. RE: Ell Diablo - MOT Passed! - powerandtorque - 24-01-2014 You sure that the engine won't touch that as rocks/moves slightly coming on and off the power? Might be plenty of clearance there and it's just the photo that makes it look tight, but worth keeping in mind as engines do move a surprising amount on standard mounts. I'm pretty confident it will be fine I have welded in 5mm steel on either side of the engine mount so there it very little movement at the top of the engine there. There is about 10mm between the engine and the brace. I think the angle of the photo isn't the best. RE: Ell Diablo - MOT Passed! - Grant - 24-01-2014 Boom! Ell Diablo - MOT Passed! - Jonny b - 24-01-2014 S16 engine ɑnd box grant! 70 RE: Ell Diablo - MOT Passed! - Eeyore - 24-01-2014 That looks awesome painted up!
