I know that kernow joensaid sack it off but do you change to a non pas rack or just disconnect the pipes???

As for the turbo; this is true with the 306, but the 205 is not a 306 Big Grin It, believe it or not, has a lot more room towards the rear. Either because the bay is larger or the engine sits further forward; im not sure.

The engine sits further forward plus it has no reinforcements on the bulk head

To be fair, the XUD9 and XUD7 are practically the same engine, should be a straight swap, and I think you should do it, it has awesome potential and I've never thought you were very comfortable driving a perv lol

RE: xud9 in a 205? - kernow_joe - 19-01-2013

went to look at the 205 in question earlier, its a bit of a shed, but underneath it all it does have potential, which to me is good as shouldn't fetch as much.
is an ebay auction though so will have to wait and see

Just be careful, if you know if you want to drop a 1.9 'custom' driveshafts are essential!

Re: xud9 in a 205? - kernow_joe - 09-02-2013

I've got a set of 'custom' drive shafts just sitting around Smile also some spare 6 brakes tbh will probably stay 1.8 until end of summer
