dropped to £1600 after 3weeks
took £1450 in the end

beg to differ; this last week, majority of cars i've passed being put onto, or being towed by, a recovery truck are less than 5 years old...
I think any car has the potential to break..

Tbf I think most breakdowns atm are due to poor batteries, saw loads of people with bonnets up and jump leads yesterday, there were 3 in Tesco car park! (A 306 TU, a Golf V5 and a 530D btw lol).
Also, if the tax is free, its gotta be something fairly small, or is it just free for the first year?
Oh, oh, oh, I know what it is.............. Cheap to run, band A tax, cheap to insure and good warranty.....
