I do like white wheel just to much cleaning and up keep for a daily, will do a darkish silver on the lazers if they stay (pre dirty'd silver) Big Grin

RE: Pugloves sigma phase-win - puglove - 01-01-2013

Right guys need a bit of advise.

Would there be much point in swapping a T2 for a T3 and would it need much adapting to fit a DT?

Just wondering as i may have a chance at a free one from an RS turbo

RE: Pugloves sigma phase-win - Piggy - 01-01-2013

when its free...and a bigger turbo...its worth it!!

are you bosch pump modding??....

RE: Pugloves sigma phase-win - Midnightclub - 02-01-2013

T3 sized would be WAAAAY to big i think mate, plus with it being an older 't' series it'll take forever to spool i'd imagine

REP'd

Nice bit of info there, thats defo not what im looking for, i want a quick spool time , not even worried about loads of power just want a nice quick spool, any recomedations?

Ph1 on challengers = WIN

RE: Pugloves sigma phase-win - Midnightclub - 02-01-2013

Looks alright with the challengers on mate! Prefer them on that to the gti tbh..

If you aren't fussed about all out power mate, why not just stick a gt15 or KO3 on it? it'll boost before a t2/k14 will and still make around 130hp i expect but with a near instant spool time

RE: Pugloves sigma phase-win - Mattcheese31 - 02-01-2013

just use a t2 or k14 . . . . if you wanna set off quick just burn the clutch a little, you can get about 10psi at a standstill and then just smash it through the gears= no lag . .Big Grin

RE: Pugloves sigma phase-win - kingy - 02-01-2013

i know feck all about turbos so i aint gonna coment on that subject.
if i was to be truthfull i dont like the look of the challengers on the ph1. dont know what it is. maybe the ride hight. (is it me or does it look high?)
ive seen it done before and it looked well good but for some reason this (at the moment) doesnt.
imo lazers ftw.
oh, and as for the wheels, ive already sorted some clones but your more than welcome to make me a offer. will need refurb though. silly wife curbed it. not happies.

found it..

I think it looks good on challengers. Is it lowered at all? I'm not the biggest fan of lowered cars, well I do like them just not suitable for the roads round my house. Think a 20/30mm drop would look good on 306s though

RE: Pugloves sigma phase-win - cwspellowe - 02-01-2013

I'm sure Pete will back me up on this, but phase 1 sigmas NEED 5 spoke flat faced compomotives/speedlines.

Yeah i think they look better on this TBH, i may just flog them we'll see lol

I may stick with the T2 then i dont really rate a tuned gt15 , and i hate the kkk with a passion , iv drove stage 1 DT's with all the STD turbo's and i prefer the T2 by a mile.

As above really, but yeah i know what you mean about the clutch ra*e, i love doing it in my DT, lots of coal too. lol but there cant be alot left on my clutch now

It looks alot higher on the challengers, and it does need lowering some more IMO

Id love to have your wheels, but i just cant justify the cost of buying and refurbing at the mo, as well as the time involved

Its lowered about 50mm on the front, and i lowered the beam 40mm when it was on the ph2, but seems to sit higher on the ph1, but then the beam that was on the ph1 seems to sit higher now its on the ph2 aswell, work that one out,

As for lows, you got to have 306's low, not irish of course, but i like a good 60-70mm low on a 306 personal, id have my GTI lower but the mud flaps catch the floor under hard cornering as is
