Love the front one! Re: B-road basher - ginge191 - 19-02-2012 cheers mate - yeh i tried it on the rear aswell, but where the rear has a much greater cuve, is difficult getting it to sit 'straight' but yeh, pleased with the front one ![]() Re: B-road basher - ginge191 - 23-02-2012 Small update - fitted me new LED sidelights today, look quite nice and bright with is good! i'll get a pic when its a bit darker.. Put a bit of loctite on the two pipes as they always come undone! they come with these funny type clips, you screw one side and it tightens up?? weird things they are ![]() ^^^^ sarcasm by the way ![]() Re: B-road basher - Foxy-jim - 23-02-2012 Strut brace looks good! Re: B-road basher - Poodle - 25-02-2012 This is moving pretty quickly now, particularly like the way you've done that front sticker. And ouch on the bulkhead clearance, reckon you're going to "persuade" it to leave your inlet piping alone..? And ouch on the bulkhead clearance, reckon you're going to "persuade" it to leave your inlet piping alone..? it's all one and been running it for a week or so now, and its all 'settling' in and fits just right! ![]() just fitted my catch tank, what a PITA! basically, the battery box didnt have enough 'box' to it to be able to put the bracket on enough, so found a nice 'shelf' in the engine, and screwed into the bulkhead - and piping, jesus, what was provided was useless! ![]() B-road basher - Jonny b - 25-02-2012 Looks good Where did you get the catch tank from bud? Linky did you use the hose that came with it? Re: B-road basher - ginge191 - 25-02-2012 Jonny b Wrote:Looks good Where did you get the catch tank from bud? Linky did you use the hose that came with it? just an ebay jobby - as for the hose, it's fairly useless because: - standard breather hose is too big for the catch tank (without using a jubilee and clamping it down to size) - the pipe the provide is too small for the standard breather - i had to use standard pipe from breather -- copper piping (all i had which would adapt standard and blue pipe) -- blue pipe to catch tank... again, such a pita... B-road basher - Jonny b - 25-02-2012 Ha ha straight forward then, need to get one last time I cleaned my filter and pipes out they were full of crud Re: B-road basher - ginge191 - 25-02-2012 Jonny b Wrote:Ha ha straight forward then, need to get one last time I cleaned my filter and pipes out they were full of crud oh forgot to add, had to make my own bracket to get it where it sits now... but yeh, worth it - better than a bloody coke bottle Re: B-road basher - 4WayDiablo - 25-02-2012 ginge191 Wrote:i take it there isnt much of an immediate difference?Jonny b Wrote:Ha ha straight forward then, need to get one last time I cleaned my filter and pipes out they were full of crud Re: B-road basher - ginge191 - 25-02-2012 4WayDiablo Wrote:i take it there isnt much of an immediate difference? difference in what, inlet cleanliness?? ![]() Re: B-road basher - 4WayDiablo - 25-02-2012 ginge191 Wrote:cleaner air better burn?4WayDiablo Wrote:i take it there isnt much of an immediate difference? Re: B-road basher - ginge191 - 25-02-2012 i think the previous 150k has had an impact on that one, but yeh, should be ever so slight, if any.. neatens the engine up a lot with the new intake anywho. plus, the differnece with the new intake was a fair bit anywho, that had the removed breather.. |
