Yes sunflower is usually more expensive but has more calories per liter so you can go faster on it or get better MPGees, kinda like the V-Power of the cooking oil world. Buy a nice phase1 low miles nice turbo Bosch pump and run it on veg. ![]() the truth about veg. - ash240970 - 24-09-2012 If you can be bothered with the hassle and fuel cost really is an issue then Bosch and dturbo is the only way to go and start going round your local takeaways and chip shops asking for their waste veg oil - we pay £4 for 20ltrs round here of WVO then filter it ourselves. RE: the truth about veg. - Anton - 24-09-2012 Been running Veg/Sunflower for 50k miles, no problems. On Diesel i can average around 52mpg, on veg i average around 46-50 depending on how i drive.
