Personally I think 17"s are far too big for 306's (with the exception of OZ's).
Out of the two though I think that the challengers would suit your car better.

bigger turbo either T25 or TD04L or get a T2 HYBRID
hdi gearbox
up grade my drive shafts
gti6 brakes
gti6 axle
give engine a really good clean
get head rebored
get some uprate con rods
get some side skirts
get some challengers
black mask my headlights
and get a fully body respray same colour tho i want the body mint but its not far from mint anyway lol

Looking good after the clean mate
I'd say it's a little low for those wheels but that's just my opinion! If you raised it so the rear wheels fitted the arches more rather than being inside it'd look spot on! They'll look good once they're sprayed too
