RE: Current Scrap Prices? - Danny Wideboy - 19-11-2015 Precious metals are still worth money. Copper, brass, lead and the like are still making reasonable money. Steel /iron is worth the square root of f*ck all. I got £60 for a 1.4 ton car with 5 alloys the other day. I don't think that is the end of the world really. Also, as a result, there are loads of decent cars selling for not a lot of money, buyers market for sure.
