AS for the cat. £40? If it's a genuine BMW one you ought to see if you can get a better price by the sounds of it. RE: "Super Budget" Red BMW 325 Coupe "Wall Rider Drift Build" - Midnightclub - 30-07-2015 I'd be surprised if it didn't have more than 1 cat, they have 4 on some of them haha. Got 2 on my 330 RE: "Super Budget" Red BMW 325 Coupe "Wall Rider Drift Build" - 7057sam - 30-07-2015 Love this such a bargain Haha take it,it goes sideways well ![]() RE: "Super Budget" Red BMW 325 Coupe "Wall Rider Drift Build" - silverzx - 30-07-2015 (30-07-2015, 09:42 AM)Paul Baldwin Wrote: What are you like :p? She needs slamming, it's horrible to drift ATM (hence the impact). ![]() "Super Budget" Red BMW 325 Coupe "Wall Rider Drift Build" - silverzx - 06-08-2015 Changed the air filter, decided on a panel for the minute but will probably swap out for a large cone at some point. ![]() Fitted my End Tuning chip. ![]() Changed the spark plugs, 5/6 were covered in oil, never seen this before but isn't apparently uncommon. Obviously a lot of oil dropped into cylinders when I removed the old plugs. ![]() ![]() Also cleaned the sunroof glue/gunk that remained after taking the lining off. RE: "Super Budget" Red BMW 325 Coupe "Wall Rider Drift Build" - Midnightclub - 06-08-2015 Was the oil actually around the top of the plugs, then dripped down onto the threads? More than likely just the rocker cover gasket if that's the case, there's 6 'O' rings that seal the spark plug chambers RE: "Super Budget" Red BMW 325 Coupe "Wall Rider Drift Build" - silverzx - 06-08-2015 (06-08-2015, 09:27 AM)Midnightclub Wrote: Was the oil actually around the top of the plugs, then dripped down onto the threads? RE: "Super Budget" Red BMW 325 Coupe "Wall Rider Drift Build" - Midnightclub - 06-08-2015 I see.. maybe worth doing a compression test? Or is it just a thing that happens on m50's? According to a BMW forum it's not uncommon so I'm not really bothered. ![]() RE: "Super Budget" Red BMW 325 Coupe "Wall Rider Drift Build" - Piggy - 06-08-2015 How did it get the love tap!!!??? EFA ![]() "Super Budget" Red BMW 325 Coupe "Wall Rider Drift Build" - silverzx - 12-08-2015 Changed the oil last night, the old stuff was pretty bad and the oil filter was disgusting, well needed/deserved oil change I think! Went for Castrol GTX 10W-40 Part Synthetic which was £13 for 4L at Asda. ![]() ![]() Shame the magnetic sump plug wouldn't thread in. ![]() Also fitted a boss. ![]() Quick release. ![]() Fake OMP steering wheel (which isn't round at the top, never had problem with fakes before but this is bad). ![]() Also found an old radio for it, just need a harness/adapter. ![]() "Super Budget" Red BMW 325 Coupe "Wall Rider Drift Build" - silverzx - 13-08-2015 Got around to fitting my generic £140 eBay coilovers last night. Feels sooooooo much better to drift now! Might go a tiny bit lower yet. Front tyres scrubbed the helper spring but luckily had some 5mm spacers lying around so put them on the front! ![]() ![]() How she sits this morning! ![]() ![]() |
