Notice how anyone who worked on it didnt have it in their favourites lol its not the first but its not exactly any help that anyone had done it before as there is no documentation or project threads out there. Its different and I feel as if I havent finished it as I never put a gti6 head on... but the rallye is special and that should really be the focus of my activities from now on. Notice how anyone who worked on it didnt have it in their favourites lol For me it was the info side of things, as there is a lot of shit on how to do a vvc conversion, people saying you need to do this, and do that etc, I wouldn't go through it all again from the start. Also i am practically at the point now where i am finished with the project now, as i cannot really see much more going on, other than service and maybe the odd renewed part. I may even part company with the car next year. RE: Favourite Forum Car - bashbarnard - 21-07-2015 For me Sam yours would've made it onto the list but im thinking your raylle may excel now you've had some experience and have a lot of parts ready to go. That's what im looking forward to. Also cheers for the mention procta. always nice to see people actually reading my thread. RE: Favourite Forum Car - Piggy - 21-07-2015 Others may have copied your 2.1 Dumdum... But the first Iphone was crap. Trust you to do that!! RE: Favourite Forum Car - Eeyore - 21-07-2015 My favourites.... flossys 309 jamies charged 6 frostys estate nialls 6 because omex friend. stefs 205 as well like i love them all really but i think those 5 i usually look at and go... oh... i could have that... RE: Favourite Forum Car - ozonehostile - 21-07-2015 Naturally being on a 306 forum I like the majority of cars on here but ones that stand out are: Toms zx. Pushed the xud further than almost anyone so far, still driven daily, spaceship mileage and if something blows it's apart and back running within hours. Really admirable stuff and one of the nicest guys you'll meet Jamies Supercharged 6. Genuinely mint, really tastefully modified and homebuilt with years worth of part hoarding. Everything I like Matts rallye (black) simply because without him letting me have a drive back from a meet once I'd have never have bought my 6. This ignited my love of the Xu10j4rs engine and was solely to blame for abandoning the dturbo Day666 gti6, followed it on the 6 forum for a while, truly inspired build when it comes to all the thought and time put into the engine and suspension. Effort that clearly paid off seeing it blast up Prescot and filled me with ideas for my own Stefs 205, my favourite engine, Supercharged, in a 205. Winning recipe in my eyes. Constantly evolving too, so always something new to read about Loads more cars i love on here but I don't want to bore you all RE: Favourite Forum Car - toseland - 21-07-2015 (21-07-2015, 03:22 PM)Piggy Wrote: Others may have copied your 2.1 Dumdum... RE: Favourite Forum Car - Nathan1305 - 21-07-2015 I like the mix of cars going on here and the few that keep popping up. Glad my little 106 got a mention RE: Favourite Forum Car - Dum-Dum - 21-07-2015 (21-07-2015, 01:47 PM)procta Wrote: Lolsteves bit posh rover, due to the fact he is still pushing on with rovers, and its the last of the british made car.Last British car ever made in what f*cking world? TVR, Marcos, is aston martin still owned by us? never heard of Norble or Norton, also you forgot to mention ginetta, westfield and caterham joke a side i should have said the average fella like ours can buy, as the said cars you have mentioned bar lotus and landrover, all the rest go for quite a bit, or even kit car based. RE: Favourite Forum Car - Poodle - 22-07-2015 *facepalm* Procta, you're embarassing yourself again. Come on, you're meant to be a rover freak, so obviously you'll know they haven't been owned by a british company since 94. No? Besides, who they're owned by doesn't make the blindest bit of difference to where they're made. What about Mclaren, are you telling me Woking is in India? And you've never heard of Noble, seriously? I know we make jokes about you northerners living under rocks, but i didn't realise it was true. Also, you can have a ginetta for 30k, that's pretty affordable in my book tbf. I see what you mean about every man cars, but with labour costs being what they are in this country it's just not realistic to produce a non-specialist product and survive as a business. A lesson rover learnt well when they collapsed. RE: Favourite Forum Car - lolsteve - 22-07-2015 Affordable as in £500 for a 2004 "top of the range" model RE: Favourite Forum Car - Ruan - 22-07-2015 I don't necessarily agree there Poodle... It's not that we can't make cars ourselves, it's nothing to do with labour costs.. We still make the BMW Mini, Honda Civic, Jazz and CRV, JLR products, Vauxhall build the Astra and the Vivaro van, Nissan build the Juke, Note, Leaf, Quashqai over here. We're just f*cking incapable of running a car company and making it profitable... We can successfully build cars just fine... I take it your not familiar with the term "et al" you'll notice at the end of my list. I didn't forget to mention I decided 10 was enough. Also not cars an average bloke can own, get off, you can get a Jag sov for a grand which is a proper Jag for 306 money and any one of the Ford based Jags for anything from scrap value up. RE: Favourite Forum Car - Piggy - 22-07-2015 Off topic much?
