Bit steep again but better than KF... RE: kwik fit rip off! - Piggy - 26-03-2015 thats STILL a massive rip off. You could get a full stainless system and sports cat for that price! RE: kwik fit rip off! - bigcheez2k3 - 26-03-2015 ^WHS My dad had a stainless system done for less than that on his Mondeo in 2.5". RE: kwik fit rip off! - Toms306 - 26-03-2015 Where are you going for these stainless systems? Cost over £700 for the magnex and sports cat on the '6 even 8 years ago lol. RE: kwik fit rip off! - toseland - 26-03-2015 my full stainless system was free... the linkpipe was £50 cash, and they can/will do a full system for 2-300 depending on size and bits added.. RE: kwik fit rip off! - Toms306 - 26-03-2015 If its the one I gave you it wasn't originally free lol...someone paid for it at some point! Never did find the recipt for that particular catback though. Fair enough Sam, didn't realise PF did them so cheaply! RE: kwik fit rip off! - Piggy - 26-03-2015 £700!? Haha, they saw you coming tom! RE: kwik fit rip off! - Iceman299 - 26-03-2015 I paid £250 including fitting for a longlife cat back including decat about 9 years ago from MIJ RE: kwik fit rip off! - Toms306 - 26-03-2015 (26-03-2015, 06:53 PM)Piggy Wrote: £700!? Haha, they saw you coming tom! I'd never pay that lol. It was a receipt for the '6 I bought last year! I've only ever paid up to £100 for used stainless backboxes and catbacks for 306s, never bothered on any other car lol. Thought about it on the Focus but it doesn't even have a bumper cut-out so no point really. RE: kwik fit rip off! - Connor - 26-03-2015 £180 for my turbo back stainless in 2.5" RE: kwik fit rip off! - miles - 26-03-2015 As we can see it varies allot, a 205 I broke had a Powerflow exhaust on complete with mild steel weld's and a invoice for over 500.00 and that was from the back of the D/P back, I could have done better and I hate exhausts, One of those things, you always here about people being ripped off for this and that, but it's there fault as some research would show all, I see it all the time RE: kwik fit rip off! - chylledapps - 27-03-2015 An equivalent of Kwik Fit quoted me £520 for pads and discs all round when I first got my car, had the job done for £200...........'And this is in South London' |
