Viewing this tomorrow - advise required - devils_fuel - 21-04-2014 All suggestions have been taken onboard but on local searches of autotrader, eBay and Gumtree I can't find many that are worth a look - I saw some cars today that looked good in the pics but a mongrel in real life ![]() Saw a fantastic 306today with an indoor swimming pool, only 700 ![]() RE: Viewing this tomorrow - advise required - Piggy - 21-04-2014 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2002-02-Ford-Mondeo-2-0TDCi-130-Ghia-X-/141260248604?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item20e3c4561c ?!?!? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Focus-2-0TDCi-Zetec-Climate-2006-/221420699408?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item338db3bf10 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006-06-Ford-Focus-1-6TDCi-Sport-146-000-miles-/321367229327?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4ad2fac38f come on dude...you need to try harder!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2003-03-Ford-Focus-1-8TDCi-115-Ghia-114-000-miles-/321306377119?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4acf5a3b9f http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006-06-Vauxhall-Vectra-1-9CDTi-Diesel-120ps-Club-2-Owners-12-Months-MOT-/321327379304?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4ad09ab368 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2005-54-Renault-Modus-1-5dCi-80-a-c-Dynamique-88-000-miles-/321369305068?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4ad31a6fec http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2003-BMW-5-SERIES-525d-SE-4dr-Auto-/261448509065?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3cdf8ba689 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2005-05-Saab-9-3-1-9TiD-150bhp-Vector-Sport-/141232717609?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item20e2203f29 and for the pimp in you: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2000-Mercedes-Benz-E-Class-E320-CDi-Elegance-4dr-Tip-Auto-4-door-Saloon-/131123948245?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item1e8798aad5 RE: Viewing this tomorrow - advise required - Ruan - 22-04-2014 Yeah I'll be honest, at your price point, a 1.6HDi could be an utter disaster... They have quite a few well documented problems... I'd stick with a non dpf 2.0 8v HDi, much more reliable, not as good on fuel, but you'll save your money elsewhere. Viewing this tomorrow - advise required - devils_fuel - 22-04-2014 Cheers Ruan, I have decided to walk away from 1.6 pug hdi's. Looking for 2:0 hdi's in various guises and fords instead RE: Viewing this tomorrow - advise required - Piggy - 22-04-2014 oh so now the god of diesel Ruan speaks....and he doesnt like the 1.6hdi!!! ![]() Viewing this tomorrow - advice required - SupaStar88 - 24-04-2014 If you press back when viewing item I can see everything your looking at [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY][FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY] Good scales for weighting grass cuttings 😑😑 RE: Viewing this tomorrow - advice required - Ruan - 25-04-2014 (22-04-2014, 09:08 PM)Piggy Wrote: oh so now the god of diesel Ruan speaks....and he doesnt like the 1.6hdi!!! I like the 1.6HDi, but that's not to say it's not without problems after a couple of hundred thousand... They're well documented problems and if they've not been meticulously looked after, they're VERY likely to have problems sadly. RE: Viewing this tomorrow - advice required - Eeyore - 25-04-2014 Terrible things. Check all the electrics. Carl chambers has one with 34K on it and the electrics are ruined so it was written off! Viewing this tomorrow - advice required - devils_fuel - 25-04-2014 I didn't view this is the end, horror stories put me off ![]() See my other thread about the focus, after reading that thread I'm lost at what car to buy ![]() ![]() |
