RE: Project Daily Wagon! Y418AKH HDI Estate - DeeTurbo - 16-04-2014 Haha, same as me mate! Hows the starting, still ok? I'm a bit pissed off, the tire scrubbing wasn't to bad with the shit knackered wishbones but with the new ones the tires are catching the front of the arches and liners now. I should be replacing the springs this weekend and raising the ride height to my dismay. I'm so glad I didn't sell that rear axle, I've tried stripping it but all the screw are rusted solid. God knows how bad the torsion bars are going to be to get out when I get to that stage. Project Daily Wagon! RE: Project Daily Wagon! Y418AKH HDI Estate - DeeTurbo - 21-04-2014 How did you got the fork pin out James? Project Daily Wagon! Y418AKH HDI Estate - JamesG - 21-04-2014 See that bar in picture 3 that is my gearbox pin removal tool does the job ![]() Project Daily Wagon! Y418AKH HDI Estate - JamesG - 21-04-2014 Right well the car runs again clutch is so much nicer! It's had LUK clutch Clutch cable New gearbox fork bushes and driveshaft seals Feels a lot nicer although the clutch cable needed a few miles to sort itself out as got to a roundabout and it wouldn't slide into any gear! Pedal was about an inch off the floor but its now like my other car. Few pictures of the boost gauge plumbed in and engine bay ![]() ![]() ![]() Next on the agenda is to get the powerflex bushes fitted to the wishbones Project Daily Wagon! Y418AKH HDI Estate - JamesG - 05-05-2014 Finally got round to sorting the powerflex bushes out on a pair of wishbones I'll let the pictures do the talking all In all it took 1 and a half hours to do! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Should hopefully get these fitted when I lower it Few cheeky pictures of a mini I've been helping work on at my missus brothers garage ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Project Daily Wagon! Y418AKH HDI Estate - DeeTurbo - 06-05-2014 Have you had any more issues with the starting? I think my brown relay might be on its way out to as I couldn't hear the lift pump prime last night I also couldn't connect to the ECU, I think the brown relay sends power to the two.
