White smoke often indicates timing too retarded. It's only partially combusting causing the white smoke.

Good stuff sweeney, glad you got it sorted!
Put a td04 on it, itl move the torque up the rev range and save your clutch Wink

nah cant be arsed with that, its a daily hack so i'll just go easy until i can afford new one, its not too bad just when you hit it hard, on 130k so probably on orginal clutch

I put on a k03 turbo while i had turbo off, like the quick spool Wink

My car is on 190k on the original clutch. It started to slip when I had the gt15, td04 solved that and still got 170bhp Big Grin

interesting alright, must be the lower end torque, something to look into at some stage..
