RE: Help please.... Before i burn it. - pugmanxud - 13-04-2014 White smoke often indicates timing too retarded. It's only partially combusting causing the white smoke. RE: Help please.... Before i burn it. - sweeney1987 - 13-04-2014 thought so, is there any trick to getting these things timed properly, they seem to just be a pig RE: Help please.... Before i burn it. - sweeney1987 - 19-04-2014 Its alive and running well ![]() now it seems clutch is slippping... peugeot life... RE: Help please.... Before i burn it. - anto - 19-04-2014 Good stuff sweeney, glad you got it sorted! Put a td04 on it, itl move the torque up the rev range and save your clutch ![]() RE: Help please.... Before i burn it. - sweeney1987 - 20-04-2014 nah cant be arsed with that, its a daily hack so i'll just go easy until i can afford new one, its not too bad just when you hit it hard, on 130k so probably on orginal clutch I put on a k03 turbo while i had turbo off, like the quick spool ![]() Re: Help please.... Before i burn it. - anto - 20-04-2014 My car is on 190k on the original clutch. It started to slip when I had the gt15, td04 solved that and still got 170bhp ![]() RE: Help please.... Before i burn it. - sweeney1987 - 21-04-2014 interesting alright, must be the lower end torque, something to look into at some stage.. |
