Fuel costs mainly...

Gone back to the noisy rattly vibratory engines.... Sad

Gonna miss petrol tbh, but needs must, and its part of a bigger plan. Smile

How much more was it costing you?

You work around ipswich?

I don't work atm. Sad Hence having to save any money I can.

1.8 was costing 19 pence a mile (33mpg)
I expect at least 50mpg in the HDi which is 13 pence a mile

At around 150 miles a week that's a difference of nearly a tenner. Might not sound much to most but that's a weeks shopping to me. Smile Hopefully circumstances will changing soon though, with help from the HDi lol.

Lol, yeah haha. Big Grin

Must admit, the 5 door is more comfortable though. 3 door seats seem to be hard, is the same with the GTi seats in the breaker, and the XSi leaf pattern seats in the HDi. Sad Suspension-wise it's fine, just the seats that are odd, will get used to it though I guess.
