Not quite sure how the belt routing is on a HDI but i was going to put my pump there and the side of the pump must of been 1mm away from the top run of the belt where the tensioner is. I wasn't comfortable with it and unfortunately couldn't fit it in front of the gearbox because of boost piping so its gone in the boot lol. RE: Fitting Electronic PAS - Slam Wagon - 29-04-2014 Oh ok. Bet that takes quite a bit of fluid, what did you use to replace the metal pipe? RE: Fitting Electronic PAS - Niall - 29-04-2014 (29-04-2014, 04:19 PM)PE02KHG Wrote: Oh ok. Bet that takes quite a bit of fluid, what did you use to replace the metal pipe? The whole system takes about half a litre so not a lot at all! I kept the two metal ends that fit into the rack and pump then had a custom pipe made up with these at Pirtek RE: Fitting Electronic PAS - nominous - 19-05-2014 Anyone figured out if you can adjust the pressure that these put out to give you proportional control ? ie: stupidly light for low speed parking and firming up for motorway speeds. |
