That is amazing! Like the old VW trick: http://youtu.be/BQhfcdQf1QA RE: Kwik fit - Poodle - 24-07-2013 Yeah, amazingly stupid... RE: Kwik fit - THE_Liam - 24-07-2013 I never understand why Kwik-Fit always use the "Well I can't let you drive it away like that" speech. I went in for a tyre once because it was the only place open on a Sunday and he tried that with me over a split CV gaiter, I just asked him what legal power he had to keep my car and he ummed and aahed, so I asked what he would do if I decided to take my keys by force.... He gave me the keys RE: Kwik fit - Toms306 - 24-07-2013 (24-07-2013, 07:51 AM)tigerstyle Wrote:(24-07-2013, 05:30 AM)Piggy Wrote: they take top cover off, start car, leave idling, cut the belt in half length ways while running, then stop engine, partial fit new belt and then cut rest of old belt off. How the hell does that work? RE: Kwik fit - Poodle - 24-07-2013 Crank-driven valves, the old rod and bucket system. RE: Kwik fit - Piggy - 24-07-2013 yeah a cambelt works bit differently! |
