RE: Radiator flush and refill antifreeze 306 hdi - Poodle - 22-07-2013 Fans should kick in somewhere around the 92/3 degree mark iirc. RE: Radiator flush and refill antifreeze 306 hdi - Piggy - 22-07-2013 yeah fans should come in well before 100. 85degrees is about optimum operating temp for performance and economy and as regards a flush... dishwasher tablets, drain system, pop a couple in, fill with water, get up to operating temp, drain, flush with water and refill with 3 litres of long life (red) antifreeze and top up rest with water. 50/50 is overkill. RE: Radiator flush and refill antifreeze 306 hdi - Dum-Dum - 22-07-2013 Fans don't kick in till 93 for low speed and (iirc) 112 for high speed. Mine runs at 80 all the time too RE: Radiator flush and refill antifreeze 306 hdi - Poodle - 22-07-2013 Hahah that's a nifty way of flushing the engine, damn sight cheaper than the proper stuff that's for sure. Now i just need to find someone with a dishwasher... ![]() RE: Radiator flush and refill antifreeze 306 hdi - pugboy - 25-07-2013 (07-02-2012, 01:24 AM)Welshy_Pete Wrote: Hello on my 306 hdi the temp only goes to 70.
