So what was it you were doing wrong. My kwp always gets the data fine but as soon as I try andnsave it I get internal hardware error. I really want the full fat s2 map on mine.
I may just take a trip down to steve in a few weeks, as dum said, how much did he charge?

Steve charged me £50 to fix the ECU as I had the stage 1 and 2 from him. I don't think the repair service is on his site, best give him a call to find out.
And I had the exact same issue with the KWP, the Galleto worked fine for me, well, the first few times anyway. I'd rather drive to Bristol to get him to the diagnostics and remap though in future, specially if you brick it and you happen to me moving house in a few days! Aha
