Coal on idle?? I left my Bosch at standard 1.9 fueling and was fine yer Smokey but not over the top, turned it down quarter of a turn and now hardly smokes at all just slight haze in people's lights behind me at night. The only down side to fitting the Bosch is my mpg's have gone down probably getting around 45mpg now compared to 56 when I was on standard lucus. RE: 106 NAD, spotty? turbo? - Piggy - 15-10-2013 hmmm. mrs is managing 65mpg at the mo. but Im hoping quick spooling boost and veg will keep the efficiency up and fuel costs low ta for info chris...I didnt think it be an issue...did you gov mod the pump? thats the only mod I wana do to it RE: 106 NAD, spotty? turbo? - Chris_90 - 15-10-2013 (15-10-2013, 09:16 PM)Piggy Wrote: hmmm. Pump is completely standard apart from Fuel being turned down the tiny bit, (apart from all the grinding bits off lol) Was thinking about gov mod but don't wanna do that till I got a rev gauge cos knowing me it will live at 6,000rpm RE: 106 NAD, spotty? turbo? - Piggy - 17-10-2013 for all you photo whores ![]() love the arch gap ![]() RE: 106 NAD, spotty? turbo? - Chris_90 - 17-10-2013 Looks good with them defo needs lowering on front slightly RE: 106 NAD, spotty? turbo? - Piggy - 17-10-2013 Plan is standard gti suspension, be around 15/20mm and all the plastics need 'back to blacking'! RE: 106 NAD, spotty? turbo? - samass - 20-10-2013 Remember that the pump I fist put on came straight of a stage 1 dt, and at any rate, didn't have "issues", just had to wind the screw back in. FYI standard 106 bosch is an 8mm head RE: 106 NAD, spotty? turbo? - Piggy - 20-10-2013 good info sam. ta. still on lookout for a 9mm pump. looking too for a oil cooler setup...inc sandwich plate 106 NAD, spotty? turbo? - rocker8742 - 20-10-2013 How much modding did you have to do to get the Bosch on Sam? RE: 106 NAD, spotty? turbo? - samass - 20-10-2013 A fair bit, mainly the bracket on the head, hat was a lot of chopping to get it to fit on the block, and then to miss the rad. And the slam panel.
