Fair enough it won't be a hybrid, but there not really necessary for these. Thats the answer I was looking for! Was only saying this because I have a tmic and was planning on keeping it for a while. So i would be running it on 22 / 25 psi and was concerned about the fuel I would need to be running, If it was possible Cheers RE: TD04 Turbo Info please!! - Dave - 24-01-2013 (24-01-2013, 06:41 PM)Ricky Wrote:(24-01-2013, 06:37 PM)scottbmxer Wrote:(24-01-2013, 06:25 PM)Ricky Wrote: If you think about it, a hybrid bolt on turbo for a Audi tdi etc. will cost £1000+, in comparison to spending £200 and maybe doubling stock power, it's an absolute bargain imo. This is all based on the experiences you've had with your turbo's but will certainly be different with different setups/turbos. RE: TD04 Turbo Info please!! - anto - 25-01-2013 I used the k03 manifold you have. I made up an adaptor plate from a subaru up pipe and welded it to the manifold. Ive kept the use of the wastegate and it doesnt foul on anything. K03 manifold is a bit restrictive however, although it means it doesnt lag as much as using a t2 manifold would.
