RE: The Meatwagon - cwspellowe - 14-04-2013 Jonny there's an idea! Want a couple of leaf print front seats as payment for your services? RE: The Meatwagon - Connor - 14-04-2013 I will take your drivers seat off of you and I shall pay in shenanigans RE: The Meatwagon - cwspellowe - 14-04-2013 Deal. Can't say it's in amazing condition but at least i won't have to drive it back RE: The Meatwagon - Connor - 14-04-2013 Actually thats a good point, providing its in better condition than my current one RE: The Meatwagon - cwspellowe - 14-04-2013 How bad is yours? I'm pretty sure the leather's worn through on the side bolster. In fact i'd go as far as saying it's quite grim RE: The Meatwagon - Connor - 14-04-2013 Well, being the fat bastard hench bloke I am, my base is a little squished lol RE: The Meatwagon - cwspellowe - 14-04-2013 Ah. You can have that, and the rest we shall kill with fire. RE: The Meatwagon - Connor - 14-04-2013 Im getting all giddy and excited now RE: The Meatwagon - cwspellowe - 14-04-2013 I know right? 140 miles to build a frankenseat and set stuff on fire, before falling asleep in a onesie in a tent. RE: The Meatwagon - cwspellowe - 15-04-2013 That is rather boring jonny. RE: The Meatwagon - xav - 15-04-2013 if its airbagged ill have it. kill it with voltage RE: The Meatwagon - cwspellowe - 29-04-2013 Ahahaha, Jonny's engine change meet is turning into the engine change meets smoke stack and bonnet vent meet <3 The Meatwagon - Alee83 - 30-04-2013 (29-04-2013, 11:12 PM)cwspellowe Wrote: Ahahaha, Jonny's engine change meet is turning into the engine change meets smoke stack and bonnet vent meet <3 Love it... Like a well laid plan!! RE: The Meatwagon - cwspellowe - 01-05-2013 Right, still waiting on a few bits for the smoke stack, so I set off on another mission. Have you ever wondered how to fit vents from a boat's bilge pump to the bonnet of a 306? You have?! Ahh good, then I shall tell you how in a few simple steps. 1. Buy your own angle grinder because you've been borrowing them for years and it's getting a bit annoying not having on-demand grinding 2. Find a suitably sized vent or two, the bigger the better 3. Cut a couple of big holes in your bonnet, a bit like this: 4. Place the first vent in its hole, then find something to secure it. Rivets will probably do. 5. Do the other side, step back, and LOL at your boat car Now you're probably thinking.. what would a responsible member of the community do with those big bits of metal that have been removed from the bonnet? Simple. Fix stuff that didn't need fixed. Go get the rivet gun again... Fixed! Linzi's mum and dad also had an old Seicento exhaust in the shed that needed the same environmentally friendly treatment, so more stuff was fixed that didnt need fixing. Done. So now i've recycled.. an old wheel, a fence, an old exhaust, carbon fibre, erm, an old rusty spot lamp bar... The government should be thanking me. I've also decided when i DO eventually get stopped by the Police (somehow hasn't happened yet?) I shall start a tally chart somewhere with a big knife. Make a big rusty police counter So how was your day? The Meatwagon - vlj - 01-05-2013 ....and there's my answer on how to fit them, it's been troubling me for a while. Looks good as ever! RE: The Meatwagon - Niall - 01-05-2013 gets better and better this car!! RE: The Meatwagon - cwspellowe - 01-05-2013 No it doesn't, it gets heavier and heavier RE: The Meatwagon - Niall - 01-05-2013 yeah but looks more and more epic so thats fine! RE: The Meatwagon - cwspellowe - 01-05-2013 Lol, my favourite feature at the minute is the fact that the exhaust isn't connected, so when you plant it reek comes out the bonnet vents <3 RE: The Meatwagon - Niall - 01-05-2013 haha amazing. You should fit exhausts under the bonnet to direct the smoke to the vents. Rather dangerous when you cant see where your going but would look epic. RE: The Meatwagon - cwspellowe - 01-05-2013 I do need to keep it semi legal though. I'm a bit concerned about driving to Jonny's this weekend as VOSA like to hang about at the border RE: The Meatwagon - Jonny81191 - 01-05-2013 (01-05-2013, 08:09 PM)cwspellowe Wrote: Roll past. RE: The Meatwagon - rocker8742 - 02-05-2013 Build yourself a butterfly valve from a throttle body that goes to the bonnet vents RE: The Meatwagon - puglove - 02-05-2013 (02-05-2013, 08:02 AM)rocker8742 Wrote: Build yourself a butterfly valve from a throttle body that goes to the bonnet vents ^^^^ this would be soooo win, |
