EFA again RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 23-08-2013 So again, productive afternoon/evening. Managed to finish undersealing. Got the last couple of coats on and the arch liners fixed back in place correctly (they were pikeyed in by previous owner...) Got the harness bar mounts all clean and sealed up I changed the fuel filter. It looked original. Absolutely filthy on the outside, and the inside didnt look too much wiser. And then made a start on turning a square sheet of aluminium into something else. An guesses? RE: Ell Diablo - Pompey306mark - 23-08-2013 Looking good. Is the plate for the sunroof or are you making something for underneath the car? RE: Ell Diablo - Ed Doe - 24-08-2013 Sunroof delete? Or a dump guard? RE: Ell Diablo - Piggy - 24-08-2013 undertray?? rear diffuser? RE: Ell Diablo - Scott - 24-08-2013 A dead Lois? RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 24-08-2013 (24-08-2013, 10:26 AM)Scott Wrote: A dead Lois? Got it in one! Haha no it's a sunroof blank. Fed up of mine sounding like a crockery set on Peter North's bedside table. Plus a cage won't fit with a sunroof in RE: Ell Diablo - Piggy - 24-08-2013 why not a perspex blank? Was cheap as chips that sheet anyway so suits me fine Plus I can stand around wobbling the metal making breathing noises like a certain contraversial tv character now... RE: Ell Diablo - Piggy - 24-08-2013 haha...fair enuf RE: Ell Diablo - puglove - 24-08-2013 (24-08-2013, 10:56 AM)Grant Wrote: Plus I can stand around wobbling the metal making breathing noises like a certain contraversial tv pedophile now... EFA RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 01-09-2013 So been a while since my last update. Managed to sneak off to SW4 festival with these mugs: Sorry Niall, couldn't resist Anyhooo... Managed to blank the sunroof off. No more rattles and bangs. Lush. Plus, somehow managed to do it so it doesn't leak result! Was driving down the A3, went to pull off a Junction and disaster strikes. The brake pedal hits the floor and does nothing Turns out the Ph2 diablo is living up to its name: So I now need the shitty pin the holds the pads in. I cannot find one for love nor money.. RE: Ell Diablo - ginge191 - 01-09-2013 I may have something to help with that; if I come across it I'll let you know x RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 01-09-2013 Oh and I forgot to mention, the lower engine mount has shat itself. The bush in the fork has given up the ghost. Something to do with a billet aluminium lower engine mount someone fitted Cheers ginge, much appreciated RE: Ell Diablo - ginge191 - 01-09-2013 Is it the retaining clip or metal slider your need? RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 01-09-2013 The weird right angled bar that wedges the pads to the caliper. Looks like miniature angle iron with two holes in it |
