My Friend had a pair of handles for me off a smashed up 306 getting scrapped but forgot to tell me he removed them in a different kind of way .... Rofl
He said the actual door surround / metal would come in handy to see size & shape I need to make mine ....he's got a point but I'm not fitting barrel locks though just the handles Inlove

He also gave me a pair of door Latches ...I may need to look for a pair of base model none central locking later on as I'm not using any of that extra side Speechless

Door handle square cut out of Kevlar & latch fitted & works the same as OE ...

RE: Pic heavy 2yr Build Gti6 road & track - Day666 - 25-03-2017

Well small update....doorhandle bolted in place as above post & door Latch screwed in place & door tried back on & it's works / closes almost like original ...
Scratch resistant fixed / bolt in Polycarb windows coming next week with McDonald's Big Mac size 210mm sliders...
Outside opening door handle works as standard too ...just need to cut out internal Carbon door panels for standard internal handles & bond them in & fit wire rod from door latch to internal door panel handle ...
Got a great price for spraying them .....

So far each door without Polycarb window & wing mirror & carbon door panel & handle weighs in at 7.1Kgs each so under 8.0kgs each with other bits  Rofl

The complete original door with Electric windows 27.4kgs each ...so as I've already said in a earlier post should be 38kgs -39kgs for both saving ...which I think is massive saving ....

Unreal two original doors are nearly 60kgs Shock

Don't think I can take much more serious weight off now Matt ...hopefully ?...this should make a huge difference ...
No it wasent heavy before your right ...I've taken to saving weight everywhere I can Itwasntme

Plus I've got the F2000 Carbon spoiler to go on the rear to keep it more stable over 110-130 not got any spoiler not even the Gti6 on my Fibreglass tailgate & it's horrible....big difference it's made ...

No Mei ....it's tucked away at mo & wont be coming out until
Very late if at all this year m8 ...I would love to remove the standard fuel tank & fit a small baffled one inbehind the passenger seat but below into the floor ... everything's cash & no longer cards nowadays so can't spend what I don't have Speechless
