Some belts do have arrows on to show which way the belt should go

Well I've learnt something there, didn't realise belts were directional either.

Resurrecting an old thread, but that was an excellent read! Thanks for listing the parts codes.

What happened to the engine in the end, did you swap it into your 6, did it start ok?
Kinda left with a cliffhanger Wink

lol its still on the engine stand in the garage
I am regularly turning it over by hand

but it will go in the six when that engine expires
but its not giving up yet!

just to put a finish onto this build, this engine has now been installed into my car and im currently running it in
