RE: The Meatwagon - cwspellowe - 08-03-2013 A big stupid gay as f*ck black wee and i'm not happy. For the second time (and just to keep dumdum miserable) some kids were throwing bricks in the road, i managed to avoid most but two chunks went under the bumper. Didn't lose oil pressure or anything, thought all was well, went home and jumpstarted the work van and, lo and behold, black wee RE: The Meatwagon - Niall - 08-03-2013 Wanklets! Hopefully, it's just a cracked sump. Fairly easy as cheap repair RE: The Meatwagon - cwspellowe - 08-03-2013 Yeah Niall but we're flat broke this month after a monster gas/leccy bill landed on our doorstep. Even a £20 repair is extortionate just now. Urgh every time I drive it. That's it.. i'm raising the ride height. RE: The Meatwagon - Niall - 08-03-2013 Yhpm The Meatwagon - Alee83 - 08-03-2013 Little Scallywags...! I drove over (straddled) what I thought was just a carrier bag in the road today, ended up being a bag of sand, nearly ripped the exhaust off. How the hell does a bag of sand get in the road....?? RE: The Meatwagon - cwspellowe - 08-03-2013 Probably the same way half bricks get in the middle of the road? RE: The Meatwagon - Poodle - 09-03-2013 Extended skid plate, curving up over the bottom bar of the bumper.... RE: The Meatwagon - Dum-Dum - 10-03-2013 or get a sump specially plated. (cost me £100 to have an ally one done with 10mm all plate.) RE: The Meatwagon - bingham123456 - 10-03-2013 Hit a massive boulder in a transit while on holliday in devon. Some little bastards had put it right in the middle of the road halfway round a corner...... I hit it doin about 45mph and it absolutly obliterated the engine/gearbox drive shaft and rear axle. Managed to limp it to the nearest house (3miles) with one engine mount and some wires holding everything together. Paid £200 for it and ended up swaping it for a 2.3 turbo volvo estate that the owner of the house i pulled up at had. Thay were the best old people i have ever met. Couldnt belive it wen he sed i could have the volvo i about died. No one ever swaps a perfectly good volvo for a van thats fooked. RE: The Meatwagon - cwspellowe - 10-03-2013 Lol! Can't see anyone wanting to swap for this thing though. CBA looking at it today, been snowing all day. Will get under it tomorrow I think and see what's what. RE: The Meatwagon - bingham123456 - 10-03-2013 I swap with you lol 1.8auto 306 for yours? deal???? Lmao N yeah its snowin hear atm. Supposed to have fixed the fence today i broke last week. Got drunk ( very very drunk) and fell over and thru it. Now get it sorted you lady garden The Meatwagon - Parksy87 - 18-03-2013 Bit random but been brave enough to go near it with a jetwash/pressure washer? :p RE: The Meatwagon - Shea - 18-03-2013 Saw this at Fast show this weekend..... RE: The Meatwagon - Seid' - 18-03-2013 lol, don't give him ideas. still gets to cut the sw xD RE: The Meatwagon - Dum-Dum - 18-03-2013 Dude for total zombie readyness you need one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150763388186 RE: The Meatwagon - vlj - 18-03-2013 Beef Flavored Vegetable Stew - 30 Servings Cheddar Broccoli Rice - 30 Servings sounds really appetising to be honest.. RE: The Meatwagon - cwspellowe - 31-03-2013 LOL! That truck is amazing! Right long overdue update, had plenty on my plate the last month or so and lost the love for the car again. Went to do a harlem shake at Strathy Park and the rear wheels nearly fell off the car, turns out when I was doing the rear brakes I forgot to bolt on the spacers tightly so they worked themself loose. The aforementioned brick also did a bit of damage but thankfully was just the return pipe from the turbo so that got sorted pretty readily. The car had been sitting squinty for a while, pretty sure I have a bent wishbone but the joys of adjustable suspension mean you can sort of fine tune it and get it "about right" again. So I did just that, but it involved buying a 2ft set of stillsons to crack the lock rings off the coilovers. Man tools. So yeah, front ride height is pretty much spot on again. Then my friend Chris Halliday (who runs I Heart Haters) wanted to hook up for a photoshoot through in Glasgow so last night, me, Linzi, wee man, Xav and Callum set off for some staged zombie shots. Bit disappointed as there was supposed to be nearly 30 volunteers to dress up as zombies.. only two turned up. Still, made the most of it and had a great evening. It also made it through to Glasgow and back without fault, and it's behaved itself all day today too. Looking promising, and some nice shots have got me in the mood for show season this year too. Next up, Soundwerks open day on June 1st. Might even make an appearance at the camping thingymajig later this month if you all ask nicely.. RE: The Meatwagon - Poodle - 31-03-2013 Looks rad fella, wee man doing his bit there haha! Be good if you could make it to the lakes meet, might finally actually meet you lol. RE: The Meatwagon - Seid' - 01-04-2013 f*ck. glad to see you have put the license plates right like very much dude! RE: The Meatwagon - Piggy - 01-04-2013 aweeeeesoooome! looks even better than i thought it would! RE: The Meatwagon - Dum-Dum - 01-04-2013 Looking good mate, in a couple of pics the paint looks a bit too plain, neets some overspray ot other patchyness. The photo of you and wee man hes clearly thinking "dad gerroff me, your well embarrassing" RE: The Meatwagon - cwspellowe - 01-04-2013 Aye I need to fatigue the paint but haven't thought how to do it yet. Don't want to sand through as the white underneath will come through, might get creative with some black and add shading at the edges of the panels The Meatwagon - Jonny b - 01-04-2013 f*cking love it!!! Some great shots their fella RE: The Meatwagon - C.A.R. - 01-04-2013 Loving the hate this has collected on Facebook Also thumbs up for getting the wee man involved! He needs a Fisher Price chainsaw to complete the look haha! RE: The Meatwagon - cwspellowe - 01-04-2013 Hahaha the hate adds to the fun of it. In a sadistic way it's nice to know it's touched people in such a way they actually hate it. Seems to be no middle ground |
