My 306 Project - Bananalad - 16-12-2011 Bought this miami blue D-turbo like this.... Its 1996 with a lucas and a T2 Since i got it i lowered it front and back, cyclones, dturbo spoiler, skirts and a few other bits. Have the car sitting on volcanes when im polishing the cyclones Few more pics on the volcanes could do with a wash... Bought this the other day 4inch tip just have to rip out the insides to make it free flowing and get it fitted Rip in the seat i need to get sorted.. Finished up polishing the cyclones with a 55 profile tyre on which will be changed, Before After Fitted Some random pictures.. Got some stealths to spray white while i get new tyres for the cyclones C.B First one on.. Bought a half leather half suede interior from a GTi 6. Only a small bit worn on the drivers seat! Have doorcards ready to go in. Raised the back for NCT its sitting at the top of the tyre just need to lower the front more Got rid of my old lucas pump and put a bosch on The car is sitting ready for a full respray to freshen it up with new sideskirts, fog lights, indicators ect. Future plans, Coilovers Rear disc brake axle New 195/45 tyres for the cyclones Get a straight through to the backbox some minor modifications to the pump and a few other bits and pieces.. C&C welcome thanks for lookin.. Re: My 306 Project - Matt - 16-12-2011 Polished clones look cool. How long did they take? Re: My 306 Project - Bananalad - 16-12-2011 Matt Wrote:Polished clones look cool. How long did they take? Yeah i just need my new tyres on they took about 9 or ten hours a wheel to do Re: My 306 Project - Connor - 16-12-2011 Please take the piss flaps off, ruin an otherwise good looking car Re: My 306 Project - Bananalad - 16-12-2011 Connor Wrote:Please take the piss flaps off, ruin an otherwise good looking car Yeah ok ill do that just for you Re: My 306 Project - Connor - 16-12-2011 Please mate, Ive got a soft spot for Miamis and yours looks sweet, apart from the rubber matting lol Re: My 306 Project - Bananalad - 16-12-2011 The cars stripped down for paint atm so there off it, any pictures of yours floating about? Re: My 306 Project - Connor - 16-12-2011 A couple, im not really a photo whore, so only ones are from other people at meets, ill have a search around Standard height (monster truck lol) This was literally just after fitting my gaz coilies And this was the meet the next day But its currently off the road now, waiting for an engine rebuild Re: My 306 Project - Bananalad - 16-12-2011 No bother buddy post a link if you find some! Re: My 306 Project - Connor - 16-12-2011 There you are, found some of the better looking ones Re: My 306 Project - Matt - 16-12-2011 What process did you do? I'm goingbto remove the chrome on the lips of my alloys and polish them instead Re: My 306 Project - Bananalad - 16-12-2011 Connor Wrote:There you are, found some of the better looking ones Think i prefer the phase 1 front bumper but nice car! Much plans for the engine? Re: My 306 Project - Bananalad - 16-12-2011 Matt Wrote:What process did you do? But start off with around 240 grit sandpaper or lighter and slowly make your way up through the grades making sure you have taken off the marks from the last grade.. You will end up with 2500 grade wet and dry then buy some autosol and use with a buffer.. It will take a long time to do though and alot of patience! Re: My 306 Project - Connor - 16-12-2011 Bananalad Wrote:Connor Wrote:There you are, found some of the better looking ones Well when it all goes back together, itll have a full smoothed front end and as for the engine, not really given it much thought yet, but will be going for atleast 200bhp Re: My 306 Project - Bananalad - 16-12-2011 It will be different anyway! Should be nice when its finished Re: My 306 Project - Matt - 16-12-2011 Alot of effort there then, only one of my wheels the laquer is peeling an looks rough so going to polish that one up, going to get polishing lol Re: My 306 Project - Bananalad - 17-12-2011 You should get the tyre pushed off the rim or ideally get it taken off and take out the valve to make it easier on yourself Re: My 306 Project - ginge191 - 17-12-2011 errmmmm this project... yeh.... not to my taste but respect for the time and effort pal.. constructively, the entire car could look decent if you just bring that back end up my 50-60mm, keep it even height all round.. Re: My 306 Project - Bananalad - 17-12-2011 ginge191 Wrote:errmmmm this project... yeh.... not to my taste but respect for the time and effort pal.. The car has been raised at the back its in there somewhere and the front is being lowered so its sitting 5 mm lower at the front..
